[Debates in Artificial Intelligence in the University]

Portfolio of publications and materials around AI. The portfolio can develop along three complementary time horizons:

• Long-term: a book series that develops and consolidates substantial contributions to the debate

• Medium-term: conference proceedings, collected volumes of essays, reflections and other more substantial outputs that respond to ongoing developments and events

• Short-term: reading-group notes and other materials that capture ideas while they are still developing

Short-term materials can document and stimulate the conversation; medium-term publications can consolidate what emerges from events and discussions; and the book series can provide a more permanent record of the university’s contribution to the wider debate. In this way, the different outputs do not compete with one another but form part of the same publishing ecosystem.
